🏀 Buongiorno Franco, Finalmente si parla di serie A2!

SI. In realtà se ne è parlato fin troppo, spesso a caso, senza elementi o per sentito dire.

🏀 Ci racconti come è nata l’idea?

A seguito dell’emergenza Covid, la FIP ha dato alle società affiliate la liberta di riposizionarsi (di sopra o di sotto), bypassando le regole fin qui esistenti. Questo per ovviare alla perdita di quote di sponsorizzazione ovviamente legata alla crisi post pandemica. Sentiti i nostri sponsor, che ringraziamo caldamente per il sostegno che ci hanno confermato (ed incrementato), abbiamo fatto partire la macchina organizzativa, ufficializzando a FIP e Lega la nostra intenzione di riposizionarsi in A2., rimpolpando lo staff dirigenziale e tecnico, studiando il budget in previsione dell’incremento dei costi (logistici, societari, tecnici, Lega).

🏀 Ma perché l’esigenza di serie A2 ? Non potevate continuare in serie B, con piazzamenti onorevoli (una finale ed una semifinale per A2, ndr) e far crescere ancora le ragazze?

Noi siamo giovani, la società è stata rilevata 6 anni fa, ma il palmares giovanile è di assoluto livello. La verità è che le società di Lega hanno cominciato a guardare con interesse alle nostre ragazze. Stiamo parlando di un gruppo che è arrivato due volte alle finali nazionali, ha vinto il titolo italiano del JTG per 2 anni, ha visto convocate con la maglia delle nazionali giovanili ben 5 sue atlete negli ultimi anni.
Ci si prospettavano due strade : o dare la possibilità alle ragazze di continuare a crescere al di fuori del gruppo “storico”, al di fuori di Brixia, ma “liquefatte” nei vari progetti tecnici delle nuove società, o tenerle insieme al piano superiore, ovviamente supportate da un cast di livello. E questo è stato fatto.

🏀  Ecco … il cast di livello, ci può dire qualcosa sulle nuove giocatrici ?

Questa è la parte dove si sono divertiti il GM e l’allenatore. Analisi di partite, statistiche, etc … per portare a Brescia giocatrici di sistema. Nei prossimi giorni usciranno le loro interviste sui nostri canali social. Posso dire al momento che arricchiamo il roster con due delle migliori giocatrici lombarde che per motivi vari e/o oscuri (ma non a noi), si trovavano in serie B. A loro si aggiunge una giovane veterana della categoria di A2, che sarà un riferimento di come le giovani devono approcciarsi alla competizione. Da ultimo una giocatrice straniera che ha fatto le nazionali U16, U18 ed U20 in Francia e che comincia da Brescia un suo cammino da protagonista senior.
Voglio aggiungere che la squadra ha già Paola e Lisa che conoscono la serie A2 per averci giocato tante partite negli anni passati. Mentre sulla faccia tosta delle nostre giovani, che già da anni giocano in campionati senior, non credo ci sia niente da aggiungere.
Non voglio aggiungere altro, il riserbo è doveroso in questa fase.

Ringraziamo Meloni e Scaramuccia, per la gestione del titolo sportivo, abbiamo preso atto delle posizioni della LBF, attendiamo che FIP ufficializzi i gironi ed escano i calendari.
