Comincia con una sconfitta la prima stagione di RMB Brixia Basket in serie A2. Rimane l’amaro in bocca per aver affrontato una Umbertide senza il suo pubblico casalingo, che sicuramente funge da booster per le atlete di casa.
Le squadre si alternano al comando per ben 10 volte, quando nei minuti finali del quarto tempo Brixia cala le medie e l’intesità, Umbertide piazza la zanpata finale.
Per le bresciane lezione da imparare, a questi livelli il minimo cedimento mentale si paga.

Nell’ultimo quarto scava il solco Federica Pompei (alla fine per la play di casa 10/10 ai TL e 3/4 nel momento topico), sufficienti a recuperare il gap e mettere la testa avanti sul filo di lana.

Come dicevamo, forse un occasione sprecata, visto il precampionato travagliato di Umbertide, ma la consapevolezza di aver giocato fino in fondo la partita per vincerla.
